Ah, Mother's Day. In the Grooming thread? Yeah. Mother's Day here is the day generally accepted to turn water sprinklers back on (after being shut down and winterized for months). It's the official day it's okay to plant stuff. Y'know, flowers, food, grass - all that grow-y stuff. It is, of course, bloody hot. Also official time to use both heat and cooling.
And the day my two main warmers go from outside to inside the closet. And the spare from the back seat to the trunk. Colorado, like so many places, has many surprises. I think we invented the down jacket, shorts and boots look (made famous by Peter Jackson, that fashion plate!).
To those from Oz, it may be cooling down. It's been a particularly hot summer, hasn't it?
