Because it was playing on one of the CineMax channels today, I watched THE INCREDIBLE HULk (the Ed Norton one, not the Bill Bixby one). It's grown on me.
Spoiler coming up in case there is someone on this board who has not actually seen this one; but there is one scene that I didn't pick up on the first time I saw it that seems more significant the second time around.
Under attack from the Abomination, scientist Samuel Sterns (Tim Blake Nelson) becomes exposed to Banner's gamma-radiated blood which enters him through a cut on his forehead. That area starts to morph temporarily, and Sterns' reaction is to smile a bit maniacally. I read the film synopsis on Wiki and it says that Sterns was supposed to become The Leader, presumably in a sequel film that never occurred.
This revelation came as a shock to me viewing it today, Was this a commonly discussed theory back when the film came out, or is this a surprise to everybody else? Just curious.
