I will try and find the film again, it’s years since I’ve seen it;

An interesting video; lots of off-kilter imagery. You might have heard this track in a movie or commercial - it’s Vance Joy with Riptide:

I feeel that we dind´t talk as much as this movie deserved.

Appropriately, while I was smoking. And it is true, in my dreams, smoke does follow me.

Voting is open until December 5th!

Depeche Mode’s fanbase are pushing hard for people to vote on account of them missing out last year

Cheers, I’m making a wedding playlist and have just nicked a load of this list :grinning:

Something subtle for a Tuesday afternoon.

This song is catchy as hell, but has the disadvantage of the name and refrain (НИГАР- Nee-gaahr), meaning “Beloved” sounding a little bit like the N-word. This is not helped by the fact that the English pronunciation of the language’s name, Uyghur, is “Wigger” though the native name is pronounced oo-ee-ghoor, with gh representing a sound between German and French R, and the Ch in German Bach or Scottish Loch- if you know Irish this is the sound of gh and dh when leathan.

I was really impressed with new(ish) band Cats in Space when I saw them last week. They’ve got very obvious 70s influences, to the extent that most of their songs remind you of something else but it doesn’t matter because they all sound great.

So if you like a bit of unpretentious old-fashioned rock, here’s some dodgy footage from one of the gigs I saw:

Or some better quality sound in an official video:
