Your life as you know it is over…
I actually don’t have Zelda yet - I just bought a Switch because they were running low on stock and I knew I wanted the blue/red one. I have to order Zelda online.
Well, then - it’s merely deferred.
I think I’ve timed it right anyway because I’ve still got Fallout 4 to finish.
That could take you a while, though the main quest is pretty short so if you decide to do that only might not take you long. You might like the far Harbour add-on too.
Nah - I’ve decided against the DLC. While the game is a great time-suck it’s definitely stuck in “5 years ago” mode and too many of the things become too annoying - like the bad quicksaving mechanic and the kill animations.
It’s just a reskinned Fallout 3. Which is fine, I guess.
You modded your guns and armour yet?
Yeah - I’m level 22 now.
Nabbed any Legendary weapons? I’ve quite the selection but the top two are Neverending Shotgun and a 50% damage extra on Super Mutants combat rifle.
I’ve got the Righteous Authority I got from becoming a Brotherhood of Steel dude - and I’ve modded that up so it’s pretty decent. I’ve also got the Deliverer from the Railroad and Kellog’s gun, but, like you, I’m mostly just using a modded up shotgun.
So, about as high as I get (which really isn’t all that much, any more) I was playing a few HoM&M3 random maps. Hit one of me against a necromancer. The castles were nearby for a change. They exited, fought the hobgoblins on the road and picked up some gold. I wandered over, entered the empty castle, put up a citadel. They had not picked up their troops. I did. They came back, rather deplete from the hobgob battle. I shot them. I won a scenario in two turns.
Me and Cim have been playing Snipperclips on the switch these last days, and it’s a real doozy! ADHD Scrapbooking Porn! I love it. I imagine it’s not as fun in single player, but I don’t really know.
I recommend it dearly to everyone who owns a switch and have someone to play it with. It’s really super fun, and quite challenging.
Yay! You picked the best one. Hope you have a lot of fun with your new toy. I hear Zelda is a good game to start with.
We shall see - I probably won’t get it for a couple of days.
I’ll look forward to your reviews. I’ve loved all the Zelda games I’ve played.
Xbox was offering Ryse: Son of Rome for free to Gold members today.
That was one of the worst games I have ever played in my life.
I grabbed it, as I do most of the games for gold, but I haven’t downloaded it yet.
I had heard mixed things but fancied something to scratch my itch for brainless hack’n’slash.
Saw a guy playing Zelda on a Switch last night - kind of dangerous doing that on a train, chances are he’ll miss his stop!
Looks quite an elegant and compact piece of kit. (Which was also made the Wii and Wii U stand out when placed next to a PS3 / PS4)
Yeah - it’s pretty nifty. I set it up today.
Only downside is the wireless signal between the joy-cons isn’t that great if there’s some interference between the console and the controllers - and also the straps seem pretty easy to lose.
But it’s super tiny compared to the Ps4 Pro - it’s easily a quarter of the size.
Took me a while to realise where the “games” were meant to go. The portable reminds me of the old Game-gear a bit.
