You’re a subgenre under the umbrella of Heavy Metal.
Cool, one of my favourite musicians has a book coming out soon.
I don’t know if you’re aware of the Psytrance scene on Prize Lava but this guy 100% looks like the artist Upgrade.
Thought y’all might enjoy Mark’s 734th - and final - Guitar of the Day from Norman’s Rare Guitars. He just plays the crap out of this vintage Tele!
(The new guy is good in a whole different prog-rock way.)

Had an SG for many year that looked just like Robbie’s. I could not make it sound quite like that!
Courtesy of sanjay on Twitter, I just love this response from Robert Smith.
Saw someone share this today, I was at the Reading nights and that is a pretty fantastic lineup.
Poor old Daphne and Celeste though (a very poppy act that got showered in piss bottles).
We were at Reading the same year. It was a good weekend.
Rage were good, wish they had been further up the bill and got more time though. And it was worth staying to the end of Stereophonics to see Tom Jones.
Here’s a report from that third day:
Meh. This is my Reading festival:
(Full disclosure: I’ve never been to Reading, and wouldn’t actually go for that bill either )
Not even for Mallard?
Rory headlining. What a time to be alive!
I like how AC/DC and Phil Collins are down in the small print.
I know David’s musical preference but that considered it isn’t exactly the greatest lineup ever they could have managed in pre-punk 1976 (and I own a Gong album!).
It’s their own fault for calling themselves Daphne and Celeste.
A pretty incredible lineup there; a quick read-through suggests that only two of the names there – Beck and Foo Fighters – are still releasing new music and touring.
