"The Murder Club" graphic novel Kickstarter - final two days!

Hi guys,

My second Kickstarter just went live! It’s for £900 ($1150) to do a print run of The Murder Club, a 72-page black and white graphic novel about two school students who plan to frame people for murders they commit.

It’s dark, psychological, and I’m really happy how the story and art have panned out. I think it’s great (although I admit to being slightly biased  ) and hope you find it just as interesting too.

I’m up to 16% of my goal already, which is great, but I still need to keep the momentum going.

To that end, if any of you are or know of comics reviewers, then reply here or send me a message with the details and I’ll get you sorted out with a PDF review copy.

Cheers, Tony.

Here’s the latest public update FYI. There is also a newer backer-only update with some exclusive lettered pages.

New update - progress of a page from sketch to final inked and toned version. Lots of art in there

And hey, I just got the proof copy in the post today!

And my first review is in - from

And the KS itself is now halfway through -

Only one week to go on the #Kickstarter for The Murder Club!

And I’ve got two great reviews in the bag so far too, not to mention I was featured in the Top 10 Comic Books on Kickstarter Now (July Edition) on Barebones Entertainment!

Had a great chat with @TonyCooper and his lovely wife, Lyn at the sadly under-marketed Birmingham Comics Art Festival at Birmingham City University today. Truth be told, I probably talked their ears off.

It was brilliant to find just how similar writers can in many aspects (otherwise known as great minds think alike). The ideas’ spreadsheet thing was hilarious.

I’m looking forward to getting stuck into my signed copy of Powerless, and I hope that The Murder Club Kickstarter is more than successful. :crossed_fingers:

All I can say is, you’ve got to have a spreadsheet otherwise you’re not doing it right

It was great to speak to you too @DrewEricsson and while it was a pretty quiet event, it was a fantastic opportunity to have some longer chats with everyone there. And best of luck with your stuff too!

RIGHT! This is your 48 hour warning!

Yes, just over 2 days left to back this twisted psychological crime drama featuring two school kids who plot to kill people and frame others for the murder. Go to Kickstarter now!
