I agree. It actually lines up fine with the end of the original movie.
That was my thought, too.
More Kingsmen stuff - SDCC Panel with Dave Gibbons, etc.
But which cut?
I’ll believe they’re making a Robotech movie when it’s actually out.
Yeah, it does remind me of the stories that came out about Pain & Gain. I suppose you could say the same thing about Scorsese’s “based on a true story” movies like GOODFELLAS, CASINO and THE WOLF OF WALL STREET.
“Obviously at the end they tried to kill me — and it wasn’t that funny when they tried to kill me,” he said. “They did run me over with a car twice after trying to blow me up in the car. I was in a coma and somehow I got out. … It wasn’t that funny because I had substantial injuries. … The way they tell it made it look like a comedy. You also gotta remember that not only I went through this, but certain people were killed, so making these guys look like nice guys is atrocious.”
I have to say, though, if that happened in a fictional movie, I’d probably be laughing. Sounds like something out of a Coen Bros film.
Shadow Rising is coming…
And Nolan saves cinema again. Best director of this generation.
Currently at 97% at metacritic, which won’t hold because that’s an insane rating for metacritic and it’s only 23 reviews at this point, but still - that is extremely impressive.
I’m interested. I think Nolan’s very good and this is a shorter, more straightforward story than he’s… well ever done.
His usual, more complex approach yields variable results. I was going to se it anyway, but I’m more intrigued than I was already.
An interesting lawsuit over facial capture technology.
There seems to be a larger-than-normal amount of Summer Blockbusters receiving critical acclaim this year rather than the usual critical drubbing.
And then there’s Transformers: The Last Knight.
And The Mummy, and PotC, and Baywatch…
I think it’s more that there’s constantly been a new good one so that people don’t have to pay attention to the bad ones.
Wow…I kinda wish Franco was trying more with the voice.
Wow. They’re really going all in on the William Moulton Marston biopic and not shying away from anything.
Why wouldn’t they?
Marston had an interesting life. Hoo boy.
