And could well be, but if it’s a smash hit and it probably will be, none of us would be surprised to hear Alonso went: So Garth, about Frank’s second tour…
“For what happens next, on his second tour - well, watch this space.”
Heh, I missed that line skim-reading.
Just wish it was longer than 6 issues.
It’s all in the details
“So say we all”
Read the solicitation text. It mentions Born a bit slyly.
How can the Punisher be a Vietnam vet in modern Marvel continuity? Doesn’t that make him over 60 years old? I thought they retconned these things to make them relevant to the current date?
The Ennis stuff is all in its own little universe where Frank is 60+
As Gar says, the Marvel Max stuff is in a separate continuity where the Punisher is an older guy. The Jason Aaron stuff was all about that, with the Punisher getting on a bit and losing a step and ultimately dying.
Frank’s second tour is presumably the totes still in continually Punisher Invades The Nam stories. Which are awful.
I really like how that’s been designed.
Wow. Piskor is a ballsy choice. I love Hip-Hop Family Tree. This could be something truly great.
Nice, Piskor’s had some great segue comics in Hip Hop Family Tree about his childhood love of the X-Men and the Image creators.
Has anyone read Secret Empire #6? And if so, care to share some spoilers?
I’m curious where this series is headed, particularly with Legacy upcoming.
The boxed set for Volume 1 & 2 had a pack-in comic about Rob Liefeld that I really enjoyed.
I really need to get a physical copy, I was reading it when it was serialised on Boing Boing. I do have an electronic copy of his older comic wissywig, which is about the early days of hacking (The main charcter is kind of an amalgam of Kevin Mitnick and Phiber Optik)
Not much from what I recall
Probably missing something.
