A few of my last remaining Marvel series on my pull list wrapped up recently. I've already spoken about the travesty of All New X-Men and the magic of Spider-Woman (ironically, both by the same writer).
Power Man and Iron Fist, by David Walker and Sanford Greene, wrapped with #15. It was a hurried ending to a series that started off brilliantly, presumably to make way for Bendis' Defenders. This was a quirky, fun book, with a great indie vibe, that emphasised the strength of the Luke/ Danny relationship, rather than going the easy route of creating faux-drama by straining it.
It could just be me, but I hear relatively little about Waid & Samnee's run on Black Widow, in comparison to their run on Daredevil. That's a shame, because this was a brilliant 12 issue run. Highly recommended for those of you who like Marvel's espionage tales (e.g. Secret Warriors or Winter Soldier). It would make a great OHC someday.
