I don't think the creative teams on any of the Xbooks are strong enough to entice new readers.
They've lost stronger writers with Lemire and Hopeless departing.
I don't have strong feelings on this either way as it was a franchise I hated in the 90s and only became invested in thru the Morrison books, the movies and the Mark Millar Ultimate run (which was awesome).
I now dip in and out of the Xbooks depending on the creative team, athough I would say I have more an interest in monitoring what is happening on them in these last 5-8 years than I did as a kid right thru to the end of my 20s.
However, from the position of an outsider looking in I don't think they are making good choices right now.
