Civil War II: The Oath
The last 3 pages were awesome, but fucccckkkk me that was a wordy book.
Someone in editorial needs to have a word with Nick Spencer. He's a good writer, at times he's great, but what could have been a quality run on Captain America (which this ties into very closely) has been marred by horrendous pacing issues thanks to the number of needless words he's cramming into the pages. It's ridiculous and I'm loathe to say it, but it's bad writing.
I don't get it, he doesn't have this problem in Morning Glories or The Fix.
