So with 5 out of 5 this is shaping up to be my favourite series of Doctor who since the reboot started.
By the law of averages we were overdue a dull episode and I'm thankful that has still yet to occur.
I love the way this epsiode started and I think it's this sort of balance that has won me over this time round;
1)The high concept is laid out in the first few minutes - zombies in space,
2)Then we get some education on the physics behind the dangers and why we need space suits - and one can't help thinking that this has been cleverly laid out to the viewer because we'll be coming back to it later
And then 3) we get some banter between the Doctor, Bill and Nardole - and the Nardole/Doctor relationship is really paying off at this point, with Capaldi and Lucas really having a bit of fun riffing off one another now, all of course helped by a well written script.
So 5 mins in and I was again excited about what's to come.
It was a pretty cool episide in general and in particular I enjoyed the interesting editing choices made when Bill was 'turned', I liked how we didn't really know what was going on and overall it was quite a tense little thriller of an episode.
