2-parter Gorilla City starts this week.

Yes, with Solovar!

#1885

Voiced by Keith David!

#1886

So, that means at the end of John Carpenter’s The Thing, MacReady and Chiles both made it out! How inspirational!

#1887

whaaaaaaa

#1888

Watching Supegirl, and Kara hard-elbows some robber in the face while saving them from getting killed by Mr. Mxyzptlk.

The thing that gets me is that the guy was thanking her for saving them, not getting some insulting quip in like what would usually happen.
It just comes of as rather…unlikable.

#1889

I haven’t seen that episode yet, so I can’t be certain why you’re wrong. But if you think Supergirl is unlikeable, you’re wrong :stuck_out_tongue:

#1890

Hey man, the robbers were caught and frozen in place, and unarmed.

Saying thank you doesn’t really warrant getting knocked to the ground by a ramming elbow.

#1891

…or maybe it does and we just haven’t been doing it enough?

Trying to thank superheroines for saving you seems to be a thankless task.

At least Buffy only walks away and doesn’t elbow him.

#1892

I don’t know, I think we’d have a problem if Superman elbowed people left and right for thanking them.

…Flash could get away with it though.

#1893

And, of course, I thought that perhaps the single best move of the episode.

#1894

There’s a big grey area between not great and terrible though.

#1895

The show is not great.

Kara edges on bad.

#1896

Quite so. I’d probably still be watching The Flash and Arrow and Supergirl if we didn’t live in a world in which there is now so much TV that is actually good.

#1897

Some people are just asking for an elbow ram

#1898

That’s a fair point.

It probably explains why I have the last 3 weeks worth of Flash and Arrow recorded waiting until I’m in the mood to watch them…

#1899

Yeah, unarmed robbers who are grateful to the heroes.

Man, Kara sure is a great hero. Not rash at all.
She’s surely capable of making decisions for other vigilantes, and journalism.

It’s usually hard to discern sarcasm online, but this came through loud and clear.[quote=“Tom_Punk, post:1899, topic:686, full:true”]

Yes, but:

I’ll see you and raise you:

No superhero ever got a bit upset with the bad guys.
