Are the Earth One books all meant to be in a shared continuity? I haven’t read enough of them to know. I think I’ve only read the first volumes of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.
I didn’t think they were.
I think so, but I don’t think there have been any links in the books?
They’re on the same Earth according to Multiversity though.
I guess it doesn’t really matter, especially if they don’t connect, I was just curious. Like Ben, I was under the impression that each book was in its own separate continuity.
I have Gl Earth One and looking forward to reading it in one sitting.
Hardman is extremely talented.
“Time and space are still pliable and nothing here is certain” seems like a nice get-out, just in case.
Just as long as Morrison comes back for two more Wonder Woman volumes, that’s all that matters.
Volume two is due out in a few months, isn’t it? Looking forward to it.
I just checked Amazon (Canada). Says October 9th (confirmed).
So that should mean October 3rd at your LCS.
Oh, a bit later than I thought, then.
I’m be never been interested in Green Lantern in general and Hal Jordan specifically, but that article makes me want to read hat OGN.
It’s a nice read.
Not a great take on Hal, but a nice easygoing one.
I like my Hals more brash.
Read GL EO last night. It’s one of my positive experiences reading EO editions.
Like said before, it’s not the same Hal or the same concept of GLC but it was a nice read.
I have all EO books, and currently the more positive ones for me have been all Superman books and Batman Vol. 2. Now GL joins that group.
Batman Vol.1, WW, TT both volumes weren’t so good IMO (although Batman and WW had very good art).

I’m really glad they address the costume change in-story. I mean, there hasn’t been a 200-issue crossover event to reboot the universe (which if you ask me is DC just being lazy, they haven’t had one for ages), so everybody’s going to remember the trunks-less costume. It would be a complete cop-out if it wasn’t mentoned. I mean, how would you react if one day your co-worker came in one day wearing underpants outside his trousers for no reason at all?
You speak as if that is an unusual event.
I would be calling someone for a mental health check.
I rest my case.
