Mark Millar on Millarworld:
In terms of a Mecca for comic people, our philosophy was very simple; we wanted a forum where pros and readers alike could mix, have fun and say what they liked, but hosted by the most steel-eyed, jack-booted mods imaginable who will kick the living shit out of you if you step out of line. It's a perfect environment in this sense for all kinds of discussion. We want brains, not assholes.
The following rules that apply to the site in general. Be aware some sections have more specific rules not listed here:
1. Your user name must be either your first name and/or your surname. Millarworld prefers you use both. Initials are unacceptable.
2. Do not insult creators or other members. If you have a problem with a creator's work, then write a critique.
3. DO NOT private message VIPs without the VIP soliticiting you to do so in advance. If you have a question for a VIP, then ask it out in the public forum.
4. The entire forum is considered to be "work safe" so please be aware of that in use of language and imagery.
5. Tomfoolery is for "the Pub" section.
6. Do not start different threads to discuss this week's comics. All newly released comics should be discussed in the "new comics" thread unless they warrant sufficient independent discussion.
7. If you want to plug your own stuff then you must contribute to the wider discussions at Millarworld. That means posting outside of threads associated with your products.
8. Please use the "Report" button if you discover any problems rather than derail a thread. This will automatically send an e-mail to all of the moderators for any given section.
9. While discussion of comics/movies/music downloading and the morality thereof are permitted, discussing where you download from IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
