Roses are red, violets are blue, except really that's a gross simplification, as both come in a variety of colours and hues.

Stressing myself out more than I should have getting my passport. Need to get one before paying the full whack of our honeymoon in April. If something goes wrong after that and I don't get my passport we loose everything (three grand). Damn my procrastination! All comes down to when I can get a passport interview... should know that when I phone first thing tomorrow (phone this afternoon but I couldn't book one for some odd reason the girl on the phone couldn't quite explain).

Must be a new rule, I didn't have an interview 10 years ago. (You are in the UK, aren't you? I thought you were, but now I am having doubts.)

Reminds me, though, my passport expired last year and I really need to renew it soon.

It is new. It's been added because a huge amount of fraud is conducted using false passports.

It's needed actually because when I spoke to the fraud investigators in my old job at the bank they said it was alarmingly easy to get a fake passport.

How does interviewing people for a genuine passport stop people getting hold of fake passports though?
