According to his wiki article, he's also friendly with Opus Dei. So maybe he is evil, after all. In a Dan Brown/suppress the sacred feminine element kind of way.

Reading through that article, his policies seem all over the place. Not a lot of substance, just a lot of opportunism. That's probably why he's pandering to feelgood, old time, traditional sentiments: a lack of ideas.

NCA explained, scientifically.

Or at least certain aspects of it.

So... maybe that study was incompetent and the researchers are too incompetent to realize it. :)

Seriously, I once read about a study that showed some unbelievably high number of studies are later proven false or invalid within two years of being released. Of course, I thought, what if that study proved to be false - would that, paradoxically, be evidence for it? Posted Image

The National Cheerleaders Association? What do you have against them?

Should've married a cheerleader.

Andrew Breitbart is dead.

We're still not allowed to speak ill of the recently deceased on MW, are we? If so I have no comment on this news.

EDIT: Wow, the Internet didn't take long for the conspiracy theories to pop up!

He's really dead? I wasn't sure if it was a hack or not when I saw it an hour ago, but apparently it's been confirmed to CNN. Maybe we need to wait to see the long form death certificate.

Yeah, the LA coroner confirmed it to the NY Times a few hours ago.

Only 43 years old. He was adopted so it is hard to say if this was "in his genes" or not. Could this be another "prescription drugs" related death?

I was going to guess auto-erotic asphyxiation. In fact, that's what I'll believe until his family provides proof that says otherwise. It's what he would have wanted.

Remember when Obama killed his own grandmother to win the 2008 election?

I'd kill Obama's other grandmother if it ensures he wins the 2012 election. I'm not too proud for murder.

If only I had known dead grandmothers win elections back in 2000*!

So, is Breitbart the 3rd in the "death in threes" with Whitney Houston first and Davy Jones second or will this Thanotic Trinity be Davy Jones, Breitbart and some as yet unrevealed celebrity/notable?

*Assuming, of course, Al Gore's grandmother was alive in 2000.

he's been deemed too niche to include in our On This Day videos (famous births, deaths and events for every day of the year) so by that measure I'd say there's another death coming down the pike.

Good point on not speaking ill of the recently deceased...

I saw Briebart on the Bill Maher show last year and he was controversial in some
of his comments. Then I saw him on TV during the scandal over that Wiener guy
sending lewd pics.

His death is a sudden to me because I am 43 myself. I better watch it.

He had that?

I don't know too much about the guy, just that he was controversial in
some of his blogs and stuff.

I was saying I better watch my health.

Maybe Rick Santorum will say Breitbart was euthanized by a Dutch doctor.
