Umm... well... I'm using a computer! ...with an OS two versions old.

Skipping Vista is just common sense.

You forgot me!

You are the cherry on top.

So if you could meet 5 people who would it be and why?

I’d like to meet:
1: My Grandparents
Why: just to have a chat and learn a bit about where the family came from. I knew them but they died when I was quite young.
2: my mother in law
Why: my wife’s mum died 11 years ago. So I’d like to know what she thought of me.
3: Stan Lee
Why: Come on why wouldn’t you! The man is a living legend.
4: Chuck Palahniuk
Why: He is my favourite writer and I’ve read all his books
5: You guys
Why: So I can mock you all!
I’ve met a few of you guys and I’ve made some good friends. I think we have a great forum here, so I’d like to meet more of you guys.

Christian: If I gave you $500, would you shave your head? Also, if you could only have one of the characters from Friends as your friend, who would it be?

This is absolutely true: That has been the standing offer by my father since I was like eighteen. Never took it.

As for the friends characters... the core group, I assume? Probably Joey. You know he's the kind of mate that'd do anything for you, he's got a good heart, he's always bringing girls home. I actually had a friend growing up who was a lot like him (including being ridiculously good-looking).

Christian - can you plan your next trip to London to cover the few days either before or after the weekend of the 17th March as I'll be there?

Oh, it's uncut as well.

ah gawd, i was kidding.

Has anyone ever bitten you when you said this?

sadly no one's ever taken the hint.

Stephanie: What is YOUR perfect weekend?

A stay in a quaint little cabin in the wintery woods somewhere, with someone who cares about me. Preferably a cabin with room service, an outdoor whirlpool, and sleigh rides.

I can't, unfortunately, that's such a shame! Normal school week, no chance of a school trip and no chance to not have to work ('cause I might have taken the opportunity to go to London for a weekend with the wife, something I've been meaning to do for a while).

Sorry, no.

4: Chuck Palahniuk
Why: He is my favourite writer and I’ve read all his books

I got to briefly meet him a few years back. He was an incredibly nice guy.

Gar: Do you get to visit the beach often?

Yes usually we get a day pass for one of the big hotels for about $10 and use their pool and access to the beach about once a month. The beaches here are all public but you have a place to change and can use their pool. Hard Rock Hotel has a great one with slides and stuff for kids (and big kids like me).

Not so much in the last 9 months though because babies and beaches don't mix well, hard to keep them out of the sun and they try and eat the sand. I'll use the swimming pool at my condo every weekend though as my daughter loves swimming.

Bruce: If you could get away with (i.e your fiancée would let you) a big themed wedding, what theme would you have?

See, to me, a big wedding (themed or not) is my idea of hell. I hate being the centre of attention and I hate people fussing over me. I'd actually be perfectly content if the pair of us eloped somewhere and got married alone and, due to some shit that was going down on Jill's side of the family, that was seriously considered. As it is though that got sorted and I'm perfectly happy with our current set up - immediate family only at the service and meal and a ceilidh in the evening for friends / extended family (no shitey disco). The only thing that might be themed at the wedding is the cake topper. Really want to try and track something like this down:

Curiously, although I don't think Marvel ever made that, you can get the zombie version. No thanks.

I did find these, though:

Johnny Henning - is your job science-related, or are you just a huge science-geek?

I'm curious about that as well Posted Image I've always been kind of scared to ask Johnny what his job is...
