I know...but this is the movie I'm the MOST stoked for, next summer. As stoked as I am for the rebooted Spidey (3rd) and the Avengers (2nd) - anything I can get about this movie that won't give the entirety of the plot away - I want to check out. I obviously don't want to be spoiled...but I'm paying attn to the viral marketing, interviews, and all that stuff QUITE closely. And I really want to see this.

It's my most anticipated movie too. Just as TDK was 4 years ago. I didn't see the opening scene they attached to I Am Legend, and I was actually kind of glad I didn't because I then got to experience all at once when the movie opened.

And as Steve says, it'll be online at some point.

Fantastic, mini-interview with Christopher Nolan about "The Dark Knight Rises." In a non-spoiler way - it dives into why, specifically there is

The really brings it home, a bit. I continue to get progressively more stoked for this!

That sounds pretty interesting. So we'll see the immediate fallout from the end of TDK, as well as the progression (or lack of progression) for the characters after the jump forwards.

Sounds great. I hope they pay some extra attention to the action scenes, I thought they were the weakest parts of the previous movies.

If I had seen it I would say that the covert cameraman misses a lot of the action so you might want to wait and see a better version later anyway.

If I had seen it...

yep, I'm waiting. if any previous descriptions are accurate, it doesn't sound anywhere near as good as the Dark Knight one.

So far, I'm still not entirely excited about the movie, yet. I doubt it will be exceptionally better or that different from The Dark Knight.

Dark Knight part 2 will do me just fine. I thought it was streets ahead of any other superhero movie, so even if it's just more of the same, I'll be more than happy. I have faith that Nolan wouldn't be content with that though, so I'm hopeful it'll be something special.

I am...suddenly...more excited for the movie, for no particular reason, at all. Posted Image

I think we all need another trailer. We've seen a lot of things in the pictures and video that were captured during filming, but now we could use more shots from the movie itself.

I think a new (or first) trailer is supposed to be attached to the new Sherlock Holmes movie. So we should be seeing it very soon.

The new trailer is in cinemas Friday, so presumably it will debut online then as well. I'd guess either Yahoo or Apple will have an exclusive.

EDIT: Trying to find the link that said this but now I can't remember where it was...

I don't remember where I saw it either, but the article I read said they expect the trailer to officially go online on Tuesday the 20th.

Anne and I are going to see Sherlock Holmes on Saturday (or Friday night) as part of our anniversary celebration, this weekend. Would be thrilled to death if we got a new TDKR trailer, with that, as well!

I watched the shaky cam prologue on my phone, on the bus. Thought it was good, though I've got a hankering to see it properly now.

oh my, shaky cam, on phone, on the bus?
did you think it was a Bourne movie?

Heh, more like Cloverfield. If I didn't have a strong stomach I'm sure it'd've given me motion sickness.

Tried to watch a bootlegged version of the second trailer but figured I should save it for the big screen (hoping it's attached to Sherlock Holmes which we're planning to see this weekend).
