BluRay box set has shipped from Amazon UK.
I got mine on Wednesday and have to admit it's a beautiful blu-ray set. My one pet peeve, and its one I have in general with blu-ray sets, is that the collection is on 5 blu-ray discs. One of the major advantages of blu-ray is that you fit so much more on a disc in comparison to a standard DVD disc. There are two discs in the GOT blu-ray set with one episode...which is ridiculous as the supplementary material is a good amount, but not that much. They could have put all the episodes on two discs and put all the extras on a third. Or, since some of the extras can be directly accessed from the episodes, space the episodes out over three discs.
I'm not going to complain as I got it for less than 50% of sticker price from amazon ($34.99), but it really doesn't save on shelf space when the blu-ray sets are only one disc less than the DVD sets when they could be two or three. End rant.
