@ryanqnorth Last Xmas we made tiny gingerbread houses, and then this seemed like the next logical step: pic.twitter.com/nE5yQV2n

Evolution is not supposed to be an explanation to our existence.
The Catholic church supports evolution, it actually backs up parts of the creation story. God created animals first and then humans.
Darwin is honoured in Westminster Abbey.
Even within organised religion it's a loony fringe that argues the case.

In general, no. We tend to get lots of "combined Christmas and birthday" gifts. Cheap bastards.Say, isn't today supposed to be MM's day? I know he talks about his day around this time of year, which always made me wonder if people whose birthday is around the time of Xmas, do they get twice as many presents?

Is it after eight? Because if so you could have an After Eight.
No it's only 4pm but the After Eights are in the fridge in preparation.

I wonder occasionally whether such a level of ignorance can bring piece of mind. Is it confusing to be that clueless or is there a clarity in your life that eradicates anxiety or worry?

Someone on Twitter just called Rupert Murdoch a communist.

Figure it this way, those are really the folks that end up in anger management. I knew a guy who would argue "Martin Luther was a Communist". That took a while to untie. He finally admitted this fount of wisdom came from seeing a picture of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. coming out of a Union building. More exploration? It was not a Union building, it was Union Station.
No, ignorance is not pleasant. Especially when one refuses to learn, and it's not congenital, it's optional.
