6.
7. Dave Hill
8. Eric Clapton?
9. Mark Knopfler

14. Chuck Berry?
15. Angus Young
16. Pete Townshend?

Yes seriously, he always wears a hat like that nowadays. Probably not him though as the flowery shirt looks like his 70s look and doesn't match.

Ok, yes, I see why you would say it. I think there's a more obvious answer though (but I could easily be wrong).

A high-res image would have taken away the challenge!

My additions in red italics this time, just to keep this suitably psychedelic Posted Image

2. George Harrison - yes
3. Slash - yes
4. Jimi Hendrix - yes
5. Keith Richards - yes
6. I have this as Gram Parsons but I dunno - My guess was Jimmy Page
7. Dave Hill - what? seriously? Interesting... but not what I had Posted Image Stevie Ray Vaughn - that's what I thought. Died 22 years ago this week Posted Image
8. Eric Clapton? - I think so
9. Mark Knopfler - yes
10. Brian May - yes
11. Joey Ramone?
12. Jack White
13. Dave 'The Edge' Evans - yes, but it bothers me because I don't remember him playing an Explorer
14. Chuck Berry? - I guess so
15. Angus Young - yes
16. Pete Townshend? - damn, I missed that but you're right
17. Tony Iommi
18. Eddie Van Halen - Yes.
19 Duane Allman?
20. Bloke from Kiss - those are the exact words I wrote in my list Posted Image (presumably Ace Frehley)
21. Ritchie Blackmore
22.
23. I feel like this is the Metallica guitarist who isn't the famous one - Umm...Kirk Hammett? I don't know.
24. Carlos Santana - Yes
25.
26. Joe Perry - interesting but I don't think so (I have an alternative, who's possibly a bit too obscure for you) Is this Patti Smith? Chrissie Hynde? I feel like this one's a woman - I'll have to re-evaluate that then. I had Yngwie Malmsteen!!!
27. Kurt Cobain - I didn't get that, and probably never would have
28.
29. Jeff Lynne - maybe. I don't have an abnswer for that one I think this one is Jerry Garcia
30.
31. Bo Diddley
32. Looks like Nigel Tufnell from Spinal Tap. Posted Image - ha, I see what you mean Posted Image but not with a white Strat - there's a better answer Lou Reed? - I thought Jeff Beck. Lou Reed would have sunglasses.
33. Tom Morello - Could be right. I guessed Joe Satriani
34. Is this Josh Homme? Maybe Kirk Hammett though
35. Phil Lynott - nice try but he's a bass player Posted Image I have no idea who this is

Tom Morello is definitely right. That's how he dresses.

Posted Image

I guessed Gram Parsons because of the sequined roses:

Posted Image

But yeah, you're right, it's Jimmy Page. He apparently liked the sequined roses too.

I'm starting to think 19 could be (young) David Gilmour.

I'm wondering about 35 being Arthur Lee? Mainly because I can't think of that many black guitar players Posted Image

I have 32 as Springsteen.

I've only ever seen Springsteen play a Telecaster, and that's a Strat.

But I'm not Springsteen expert, so could be wrong.

35 is not black and im not good at telling the difference between one guitar and the next, Could it be Jeff Beck?

35 is not black

Are you sure? He's sort of dark skinned and appears to have an afro. Huh. Well I dunno now...

Not Jeff Beck, though. It's a Les Paul, not a Strat.

In related news: cool, I got a spin-off thread :D

23 is Kirk Hammett. 32 looks like Gary Moore in the 80s to me. 35 is hard. Early Neal Schon? And, seriously, no Steve Vai? No Joe Satriani?

Oh wait, you were talking about 32 with that one? Yes, I thought Jeff Back. Though I'm not 100% sold on the idea.

I think you've got it. Google images returns quite a few pics of him in a black vest and white guitar too.
