Have you guys seen this yet? I know he's not working on it anymore but this could have been really great!

Well he could still work on it. Fox didn't buy the pitch but it look like Fox won't be the ones to pitch to unless they can start filming this by October.

Then he can go and ask Kevin Feige.

That is a fantastic sizzle reel. If he could capture a movie with that tone and vibe more power to him.

While a 70s set DD might be kind of cool, I'd say there's almost zero chance of that happening if Marvel gets the rights back. I'd assume they'd want all their heroes existing in the same time period.

Yeah it's a shame, this could have been brilliant. Under FOX or Marvel.

It might be because of his retro fashion styles he uses from time to time but I can really see Sean Gordon Murphy's version of DD in something like this. You can totally tell it's Murdock in the suit but it's a great look for him:

That's what the Watchmen movie should have been more like.

Yeah, probably so. A shame, as I would have loved to see a full-on 1960s Fantastic Four movie if they ever got the rights back.

Which is too bad, because Hell's Kitchen isn't really Hell's Kitchen anymore.

Well, it can be in the Marvel movie universe, I suppose?
