I do this with some pretentious tea,
And music.

Hello:
I knew this one girl who had this voice that just
mellowed me out after a conversation with her.
Something about a nice soothing female voice...

Nothing like puttering about in the garden to give me peace of mind. And sauna. Oh, how I love sauna, especially in the winter.

When I was on holiday I went into a barber shop and got a proper wet shave and face massage.
saunas tend to provoke anxiety in me. i don't mind them for short periods of time, but 1) it's hard to breathe in those things, 2) i'm always paranoid the door could get stuck or someone could lock me in and 3) an old lady's naked bum touched me once in one
On a recent vacation in New Mexico, my wife and I got a 90-minute Swedish massage during which my masseuse worked me from my scalp to the soles of my feet (minus the naughty bits -- this was a legit spa), immediately followed by 20 minutes in a rosewater bath drinking hot tea. I don't think it is possible to feel more relaxed than that. Unless, of course, they served Balvenie single malt Scotch in the bath. When I was on holiday I went into a barber shop and got a proper wet shave and face massage. I told the wife that no woman had every touched me like that before (luckily she saw the funny side) and I was so relaxed afterwards I was practically floating. Fantastic experience.
Face messages are awesome things.
Yeah, they're like emoticons, but you do them with your actual face. Awesome!
(When I saw your sentence, and hadn't looked at the context yet, I really thought that you were on about something like that)
