I'm going to do a 1948 list instead (because I want it to be earlier than 1955 but I want Vicki Vale in it).
Batman - Orson Welles
Two-Face - Cary Grant
Alfred - Charles Laughton
Catwoman - Hedy Lamarr
Vicki Vale - Veronica Lake
Commissioner Gordon - Lee J. Cobb
Joe Chill - Richard Widmark
Thomas Wayne - Laurence Olivier
Martha Wayne - Vivien Leigh
Directed by - Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger
Written by - Ben Hecht

I was going to post that too, but since I didn't want to bother thinking of other people to cast in other roles I didn't bother. Although I was going to say for Dick Grayson, since Damian didn't exist in the 50s.

I'd agree with Nicholas' post in that it should be bumped back to the late 40s rather than 1955. I'm happy with a lot of his choices too although I don't like Welles as Batman (I don't like Brando either). I might go with someone like Joseph Cotten.
For director I'd throw another name in the mix and suggest Carol Reed.

First you want to switch the decade and then take out Brando.
You don't know what you like!

I love Welles as the Shadow on those old radio shows. In the kind of Batman movie I am imagining it being that is what I see Batman as being like (only more funny, which Welles could also do) so that is why I went for him rather than someone like Clark Gable for instance.
Plus he was great at playing crazy rich guys.
