i'm doing nothing except writing a paper which is now two days late.

I plan on having a nice, quiet weekend. Might do some packing(we get possession of the new place on Aug. 10th).

My friends are trying to get me to put my car in a car show tomorrow but I can't be bothered. Too much work to get it ready. I think I'm done with car shows for the year.

Well...that was awkward.

I'm already liking this weekend. It's nothing special, no big stuff planned, no plans at all in fact, no life changing decisions or painful dilemmas, and I'm loving it. I am however also drinking a very nice cheap red wine, which could have something to do with my otherwise inexplicable cheeriness.

Not much planned. Seeing Moonrise Kingdom with Ashley, then maybe out to lunch. Other than that, just laying around chilling. Ashley's been working 12-hour shifts all week because with a couple of her coworkers out on vacation, her manager figured she could cover all three positions. Which Ashley took as a huge compliment on day 1, but she's now in dire need of rest. I'll definitely be pulling masseur duty this weekend, which she thanked me for profusely. Hot girl gets in bed and asks you to touch her all over, and this is somehow something you need to be THANKED for? I better not correct her.

Don, you'd have such a better time in the car I have now than in the POS truck I had briefly. Greeley and back at 75 most of the way, and it hummed happily along with the A/C blowing. Delightful!

2nite - Going back and forth between Olympics and Svenghoulies' House of Dracula. Didn't know it was originally to be Dracula Versus the Wolf Man with Bela Lugosi. Good trivia from a strange, strange man. Love the Women's Beach Volleyball. No losses in thirty sets over three Olys! You rock, Misty and Kerri!

Also made up a To-Do list. 84 items. Will see how many I get done by the end of the w/e. (About 20 now, God knows how.)

Caturday and Stunnedday - More of above, with much sweating. I'm dehydrated, diaphoretic, dystonic and undermedicated. BUT my blood pressure is much better and no PVC's! Must be doing something right, God knows what.

Stephanie and Al-x: Get a room; preferably one with a boxing ring in it.

I gotta be somewhere with A/C next summer. This is blowin' my thermostat. When I get a doc's recommendation to "lower [your] core temp, or we can do it in the hospital" it's serious, not just an old dude complaining.
