An article I read today that I think affects creative people everywhere. So far I haven't quite been able to come up with any other reaction than variations on WTF!!, maybe you can be more verbose.

Ok. More verbosely:

hat he uck?

This makes my Spider-Sense tingle:

After being briefly questioned about these seemingly irrelevant matters, they were told that they were to be bailed until November on the condition that ...

If a person has not been charged with an offfence, the police can't set bail conditions like that. The only form of bail police can set is to require the person to return to the police station at a set time to continue assisting with enquiries.

It would take a magistrate to set the bail conditions described in the article, after the person has been charged with a crime. So, that's thrity or more people being marched round to Victoria's nearest magistrate's court at the same time so the police can apply for bail for them all. This is virtually unprecedented. Reporters from London newspapers would be all over this.

I call BS on the story.
