This afternoon I attended the finale of Teen Modelling Camp at the Helmsley Hotel in Manhattan (short version: my special-needs niece had her dream fulfilled by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, attending modelling camp and participating in a runway show). Following that, my wife and I took my two other nieces and nephew to a nearby watering hole for some pub food and lager.
Saturday: Farmer's Market in the morning, checking out a couple of events at Chelsea Market afterwards; and attending a soiree at my sister-in-law's house in the evening.
Sunday: Big family brunch at a popular Irish hangout in Yonkers (just north of NYC) followed by... who knows?

Getting married. I think that'll pretty much dominate this weekend's plans.

Very best wishes and prayers.
To the Future Mrs. 666: Always remember: God is Merciful.

Fryday: Had friends drop by. Then went grocery shopping. Hauled in groceries. Writing on board instead of cooking. Instead of cooking having boring sandwich. But also came back with two weeks (almost) worth of comics (LCS hasn't gotten a full shipment intact in three weeks
Caturday: Friend wants me to go test-drive a Nissan, because they're giving away three Presidential dollar coins (hadn't seen one before). Heck, they'll probably give ne six bucks just to go away.
Sunnyday: No clue. Therefore Murphy's Laws will likely kick in.

Congrats Bruce! I would say "good luck" but that would imply that you need luck for the wedding which is an awfully negative position, I feel.

Well "good luck" can mean you hope it all goes according to plan - not always the case.
Good luck, Bruce!

Have a great day, Bruce.
(Of course, it's not really about you today as such. It's Jill's moment in the spotlight, you're just a supporting role with a couple of important lines of dialogue.)

As the Omni-Pope of the First Hedonistic Church of Ulfbekistan I send you my blessings, Mr. and Mrs. brucegray666, and wish you a spectacular day full of fun, love and debauchery (and metal).

Happy wedding day Bruce and Jill!
Do you want me to ban you from MW for a fortnight as a wedding present?

I'm sure Jill would consider that a lovely gift.

Ha! No need to worry about that! I might check in a couple of times using the hotel wifi but, going by our honeymoon itinerary, it doesn't look like we'll have much time for sitting about doing nothing. Also, I'm sure there's more than just the wifi in the hotel room to occupy my attentions...
Currently sitting about waiting. I'm ready, it's everyone else that's holding things up.

Have you checked to make sure the minister is still alive this morning?
