Hi all,

So I pitched a couple of series ideas to the guys at CE Publishing (the folk who'll be putting out my short story Perfect in the free digital anthology MEGABOOK very soon) and they have, in effect, said they would publish all of them (script/page quality pending).

So once again, I'm looking for collaborators. Not just a hired artist, but someone to come in 50-50 and design the series from the ground up. They would retain 50% ownership of the title and thus are entitled to half the profit. I'm open to any and all interested applicants and any and all art styles as long as they are interested in the idea and in creating something which I think is new and exciting.

One caveat: CE Publishing operate through Graphicly, so this will have some effects on the profits. This doesn't bother me, since unlike most publishers, they said "yes" to my projects rather than "unfortunately we can't yadayadayada".

VAN TUSK
Story

Van Tusk is a Private Investigator who solves cases for an array of superpowered clients, using his own powers – a doubling of every cell in his body that gives him great speed, strength and intelligence – to get the job done. If a hero wants pictures of his supervillain nemesis in a romantic tryst, a villain wants to steal ill-gotten gains back from a rival, or if a superhuman gets murdered, the powered community call Van Tusk.

Making no distinction between hero and villain as long as his expenses are covered, and with no interest in working regular human cases, Van Tusk often finds himself on adventures of intrigue and mystery brought about by working with people who not only can't be trusted, but who have the potential to destroy the world.


SKHIZO

Story

A hero with four different personalities, all posessed of their own different powers. Neither one knows that the others exist, though they often work on the same case. These different extensions of Skhizo's personality can surface at any time, causing confusion and blind rage which can have adverse effects on his crime-fighting performance. These personalities are:

SAUL – A calm, kindly master martial artist with the ability to channel kinetic force around his body, allowing him to make even the toughest attack ineffectual. Can also control his bodily functions, allowing him to hold his breath for long periods and fake his own death.

BLACK FANG – Sadistic, angry individual with super-agility, extra joints all over his body, night vision and a large array of weapons. Totally unforgiving of law-breaking and deceitful behaviour.

CAPTAIN CHROME – Patriotic and pure. Has super-strength, power of flight, shrinking ability. Posessed of the “ShineCrest” a shield on his costume that can build up a blinding burst of light energy.

NOCTURNE – Wily, intelligent detective with an array of gadgets. A science expert and former champion boxer, very capable with firearms also.
