Ok so here's thinking outside the box. Instead of renting a carpet shampooer my neighbours have pulled out their living room carpet and washed it with the hose on their lawn. Then they pulled it over two vehicles to dry it out. I can only imagine what the bottom of that carpet did to the paint on those cars. I want to get a picture so bad but they've been sitting out there. I can't blatantly do it, and now it's getting dark.

EDIT: How do I add "The what are you doing thread" as a sub-heading?

Slowly waking up. Friends' wedding last night was pretty damn great; I got to see the sun rise before we went to bed.

Squeezing in an hour and 20 minutes of Mass Effect 3 before Jill commandeers the telly to watch the bloody tennis.

Not rooting for the dour Scot then?

I'm looking forward to the afternoon of disappointing sporting action - a defeat for Murray and a wash-out at the British GP.

Misery seems to make the English happy. I have never quite understood this.

I was being part flippant and part realistic. I would LOVE for Murray to win and I'll be rooting for him all the way. But I don't think he has a chance against Federer.

And the GP will be a washout at some point - they had to stop yesterday's qualifying session it was raining so hard, and more rain is expected during the race.

It's a good race but I'm a Hamilton fan, and he's currently 12th so I'll be switching over for the tennis soon.

EDIT: 11th and closing on Button. Please don't take each other out guys...

Not really, I don't particularly like the guy. I'm not going to be bother either way if he wins or loses.

Ouch! Way to go, Kobayashi, treating your pit-crew as skittles!

You don't have to like him - show a little patriotism!

By waving a flag for a guy I don't like playing a sport I don't give a shit about?

Isn't that exactly the kind of thing that pariotism is all about?

I think, for us north of the border, it's actually meant to be about cheering on whoever England are playing.

That's only because you so rarely have anyone Scottish to cheer for. You should make the most of the situation.
