So the plan is to stay in Friday night watching the Mets play the Cubs and waiting for my son to arrive home.

Saturday, afternoon movie (Prometheus, most likely) followed by a backyard barbecue and the arrival of my daughter and her beau.

Sunday, my wife and daughter and her fella leave for a mini-vacation up to Maine, while my son and visit my dad out and take him out to lunch.

Life is good. Have a great weekend, my fellow MWers!!

Tomorrow is the fifth wedding anniversary for Christel and me.

Unfortunately, she has a bad case of the flu (which I had and am still recovering from) so we won't be doing much of anything except resting.

friday: setting up and preparing for the party

saturday: co-hosting a surprise retirement party for my mom

sunday: going to the beach, then roasting hot dogs and marshmallows

Our 5th wedding anniversary is in 2 weeks.I'm just booking flights for a weekend in Phuket to celebrate.

My weekend plans focus on pirating UPS trucks in the hope that my comics are within. Also planning on writing DC and insisting they solicit a manuscript from me.(Yeah, that'll happen. Right quick. :( )

Have no w/e plans. It seems better that way.

Have you had your bachelor party yet?


Jill and I had a joint hen party / stag do bbq last weekend. That suited me fine. The thought of a "traditional" stag do filled me with dread.
