Whatever time it is, I did it 35 minutes ago.

Seriously? That's Fred, the Dunkin' Donuts baker. Don't they teach you anything over there in Scotland?!

When I was a kid I thought that guy literally worked in the Dunkin Donuts in my town. I just never saw him because I never went in that early.

Fred seems to be like the Burger King dude* and not used outside the US. I've never seen him before despite having frequented Dunkin Donuts quite a few times. A face to the brand seems to be important there.
Saying that the old KFC colonel is always present, usually Ronald McDonald but he got dropped in the UK 10 years ago because some survey said kids didn't like him.
Question 3.
What do you think of Ronald McDonald?
a) he's such fun
b) not bothered
c) he's an arsehole
The Cs had it.
*Useless trivia I discovered last week, the Burger King is named Jack. He didn't originally have a name but when Burger King expanded to Australia a man in Adelaide already had the name trademarked for his restaurant so they had to use Hungy Jack's as the brand name. In honour the King got called Jack too, even though he isn't used in Oz.

I'm pretty sure he was just in the Northeastern US and they stopped using him in the 80s.

Fred was used here in the South as well. I think he was part of a national campaign.I'm pretty sure he was just in the Northeastern US and they stopped using him in the 80s.

they use the Burger King's King (Jack, apparently) here sometimes too! He's creepy and evil, but in a far cooler way than Ronald McDonald ever was.
