same here. a bit of shiny cool might not be a bad thing, as I think a lot of the stuff in the comics could come off very Doctor Who-y.It's not my usual idea of Mega City One, but I'm trying to keep an open mind.

It's been going on for a while now. There was a whole week of preview clips for the Prometheus trailer!
I think it's our own fault, i.e. movie geeks. There's such anticipation now online for the trailer, let alone the movie, that the studios are playing on it by trailing the trailers.

It is a bit of a waste of time. That 10-second clip could've come from a mashup of clips from Equilibrium, Matrix, Priest, Robocop and the original Dredded Stallone film for all the impact it had.

It is a bit silly and we're probably to blame as Steve says. The only saving grace for this one is the actual trailer comes out later today so it's only a 24 hour trailer for the trailer.

Mmm... didn't do much for me. It's hard to say at such a low res, but it just looked a bit low-budget.
Dredd to me is completely fantastical - there shouldn't be a trace of the world we live in, so to see an old Toyota van driving down the same street as a Lawmaster is kind of jarring.
