Hello:

This thread goes out to all the MWers who are fathers,
and those who are appreciating their fathers today.

My father passed away some years ago and, although
we have had our ups and downs, I still respected him.
I think about him from time to time, especially today.

Feel free to talk about your father if you like,
your relationship with him, what you feel it means to
be a father, etc.

if anyone here isn't a dad and wants to be, i'm accepting sperm donations. but probably not the fun way. actually, you'd really only be a father technically.

All methods are fun, it's just some are more fun than others,

All methods are fun, it's just most of them don't end up producing a baby.

i think you guys are on to some sort of slogan for fertility clinics. Sperm donation: ejaculating into a cup CAN be fun!

I deeply resent the fact that you only want my sperm and not the rest of me.

You have to take all of me, we come as a package deal!

I think Millarworld's Biggest Tossers might be a more suitable title.

Trying to think of ways to ejaculate that aren't fun.

Failing.

I mean, sure, there are ways that are more fun than doing it into a cup (some more ladylike than others), but... wait! Too soon! That's a way that isn't fun.

Unless it's too soon because you both got a little carried away... enh, whatever.

It's one I've been campaigning for for about a decade now.

This thread is not at all what I expected it would be. So I'd like to thank Stephanie for that. Because I really didn't have much to say about my dad. He's pretty cool, I guess. And by the way, "technically" is the only way I'd ever want to be considered a father. I'd be terrible at it in practice. Just like most everything else. Except putting myself down. I mastered that nearly 6 days ago!

If she doesn't hand you a cup, you've got to leave the house.

it's probably normal for people to have serious doubts about whether they would make a good parent. i wouldn't rule out the idea of fatherhood just yet, unless of course you actually know you'd be terrible at it, like you're a pedophile or something. but perhaps the first part of your post is related to the second? putting yourself down will get in the way of a great many things in life.

i said probably.

I don't have anything to say about fathers here, but I found a picture of my great-great-grandfather, Everhardus Dirkse, born in 1840, on a genealogy website.

Everhardus?

Arjan, if you ever find yourself in a porn film, you've got your name sorted.

That never even occured to me. I'll keep it in mind, should the opportunity materialize.
