I apologize for calling Russell a jumped-up pantry boy who never knew his place.

After getting to know him I'd say he's a charming man.

You know Will, I never thought you knew about the Smiths.
You never cease to amaze me... Good.

On a side note:

Usually, we have threads about saying something nice about
the poster above you and other complimentary threads. I was
just reading a magazine where the writers printed a retraction
and then it hit me to develop a fun thread here. So that is how
it started. Interesting, eh?Posted Image ...

Who are these Smiths you speak of?

Are they another one if the extremely obscure bands only you and three other people have heard of like the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, and the Sex Pistols?

Al often speaks of Led Zeppelin and their song 'Stairway to Heaven". I'm always surprised such obscure material is referenced.

Next we'll hear of some Tennessee singer called Elvis. Let's keep it mainstream guys. It may suit Robert B but we don't all work for some indie music magazine.

I sure don't know the lyrics to "This Charming Man." I'm more of a Queen is Dead kind of guy.

Yes, it's the one that goes, "I like big butts and I can't deny / You other brothers can't deny / That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist / And a round thing in your face / You get sprung, want to pull out your tough / Cause you know that butt was stuffed."

Madonna has a long a sordid history. They started out as The Runaways and had some genuine success until their lead singer, Pink Floyd killed himself.

They reformed as Madonna. After a couple of years, their lead guitarist Dave Mustaine left to form Echo and the Bunnymen.

Dream memory of being really drunk and crunching another car really badly then driving home. Thing is, I think I had a dream on the scene. I was drunk (decades ago, so memory itself is suspect) and I think I passed out in the car. Woke up, having dreamed I crunched that other car while turning around. That car was fine, my car was fine. I drove home. Checked the next morning, absolutely no indications I had struck anything. I think it was a superego dream, warning me about how bad I would feel if I actually had done such a thing.

You don't want to dwell between these ears.

I can't think of anything to retract as that would imply I actually made a mistake.

I mean, who would believe that?

I'm not retracting anything, because every mistake I make is just something to learn from.

You sound like Stan Lee in the Ross/Ditko video.
