While working, I'm listening to the RHLS podcast, this episode is the reunion of Stewart Lee and Richard Herring:

There's previous episodes below that one, I'll probably listen to the Charlie Brooker one after that.

Mostly Autumn recorded live at the High Voltage festival, 2011. Not a good quality recording and a poor sound mix, so as all the songs in the set are available on other live albums, this one's for completists only.

This recording from 2003 is a much better representation of what they're like, even though the sound is completely out of sync with the video for some reason:

Jon Lord live in Bucharest, 2009.

Can't find any of the show on youtube but here's a similar show in Kiev a few months later:

And one of the best Deep Purple songs, ruined by some rubbish out-of-time audience clapping:

I am mostly listening to Unpatterns, the new Simian Mobile Disco album. It's really not grabbed me as much as their previous efforts have.

Mostly Autumn playing Shrinking Violet at the Leaming Spa Assembly Rooms, 2nd April 2010. My favourite song by my favourite band at the best concert I've ever been to...

Still makes me cry :(

The Backbeat soundtrack arrived a few days ago and I've listened to it a couple of times. Liking it - plenty of energy and it sounds like a MC5 album in places.

I just listed go the Batman: TAS soundtrack - 2 disc set. AMAZING. I just listened to the alternate opening song...and it will officially be replacing the Scrubs theme as my ringtone as of tomorrow AM.

I think I'm detecting a very tiny, almost unnoticable, Black Sabbath influence there :D

I'm listening to a CD called Hooked on the 80's [sic] by a band called Idlefish. It's all acoustic covers of 80s hits. Decent performances but... it's just reminding me how bland 80s music was Posted Image
