<p>I'd have to say The Shawshank Redemption.Good, but forgettable. Not in my opinion one of the greatest films ever made. Hell, I liked The Mist more. And now I'm going to be banned from the board! :D

I liked it quite a bit, but I would rate it anywhere near the greatest movies of all time. I don't think I could ever forget it existed however, if only because for a time it seemed like it was played every damn day on TV. That actually kind of made me hate it, just a little bit.

As far as Darabont, The Majestic is a very forgettable and often forgotten movie.

Kasdan's Mumford and Dreamcatcher also sorta exist in the same limbo.

Honestly, I think many people will forget Scorsese directed HUGO in a few years from now.

The mist is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I truly do not understand all the love it gets.

Even though I genuinely loved both of them when I saw them in theaters, it's pretty easy to forget the Hellboy movies exist.

I like The Majestic. But I think Dreamcatcher is unforgettably awful. I couldn't believe what I was watching when I saw that movie.

Odd, but though it is very entertaining and often hilarious, I keep forgetting about Evil Dead 3: Army of Darkness and how that and Darkman pretty much earned Raimi the job directing Spider-Man.

Yeah it's one of the most quotable movies around.

I always forget about Nightmare on Elms Street 5: Dream Master when I'm talking about the series for some reason.

Hello:

How about Matrix 2 and 3?
...or the Robocop sequels?

How can I forget the Matrix sequels when I still hear about how much they suck every month or two?

Yeah, I've never forgotten any of those exist. I'd find it hard to tell you what actually happens in them, of course...

Controversial opinion: The Matrix sequels are actually quite good, while not being a patch on the first one.

I like bits in them, and have watched them more than once, but they are a dissapointment. Some amazing action but miles too much chat about the philosophy, more than enough to drag the films down and make them less than 'good' to my eyes (and ears).

Every so often I remember Hardware. Freaked me out a lot as a kid.

That post-apocalyptic trailer reminded me of Biggles! This is becoming the movie association thread for me.

And the other day Sanjay and I were discussing Tetsuo: The Iron Man. *shudder*

Some things are best left unremembered.
