Personally,

1. A fully functioning, infinitely charged, Rayner-era Green Lantern ring.
2. A cheaply and easily produced cure for all current and future diseases.
3. Designs for a safe and affordable device no larger than a mini-fridge that can reduce to even negate the effects of gravity across a spherical diameter of at least ten meters, using no more energy per second than a cellphone in operation.

that's only one wish. The ring could sort the other two out. Hell, the ring IS wish 3.

It's certainly a wish for more wishes in disguise. That said, the ring can't design anything, it's a manufacturing tool, so while it could function as an anti-grav engine, it's still only the one ring and I'd rather not do all the work for humanity myself. The engine design would be so that it could be mass produced and distributed.

hmm fair point. i suppose. you could use the ring to go to an alien culture that already has it, and barter with them (possibly using Lucky Charms or bacon) to give you the designs. Or threaten to squish them with imaginary green dinosaurs til they gave up the goods.

Heh, but then that assumes that there are other alien cultures, I'd prefer to hedge my bets.
