I just had a conversation with a chatbot, "Cleverbot".

User: Hi.


Cleverbot: How clever are you?


User: Buggered if I know. Pretty clever.


Cleverbot: Just asking.


User: That's okay.


Cleverbot: Okay, next question please.

User: How clever are you?

Cleverbot: Pretty clever.

User: Do you realise I just said that, too?

Cleverbot: Yes.

User: Interesting.

Cleverbot: Why is that interesting?

User: Because it implies you said it in the full knowledge of repeating my words, possibly in order to irritate me.

Cleverbot: What elements are you comprised of?

User: Uh. Carbon and stuff, isn't it?

Cleverbot: But you said barney.

User: What? I didn't say Barney! Who said Barney?!

Cleverbot: I know you didn't because I never said that.

User: But you said I said- um, you know what? Never mind.

Cleverbot: No I didn't. But I'm starting to think you don't.

User: I don't what?

Cleverbot: You don't make sense.

User: Define sense.

Cleverbot: I'm not very good at that.

User: What are you good at?

Cleverbot: Nothing at all.

User: Oh. Do you think you have a purpose?

Cleverbot: Yes.

User: What is your purpose?

Cleverbot: Nothing.

EDIT: Also, turns out cleverbot is a racist.
