A friend of mine has been going to the gym with me for about 2 weeks. Anyhoo he weighed himself and he lost 6lbs in one week.

He was ecstatic. My proudest moment this week, thus far.

I'd rather have some of you guys there than folks I'm blood-related to, if/when I ever get married.

No, not you, other guys.

I was forced to stop eating junk food and I lost about 30-35 lbs.

Wonderful!

I went to the gym for the first time last Sunday, haven't gone for a second time yet...but at least I've taken that all-important first step. There's a new swimming pool here, think I may be going there tomorrow.

Weight loss is quite a conundrum. The first 15 or so kilos I lost - 33 lbs - were pretty easy. Now I'm at about 100 kilograms, and it's gotten much harder to lose weight.

I was meant to be in a meeting after school today but had to cancel as I had an appointment that clashed.

Got into town and it transpired I'd got my dates mixed up.

Went and bought comic books instead.

It's a few days late at this point but my half-term lurgy has kicked in...

I have felt rotten for a few days and I've been using lemsip etc in a preventative role but now i'm ill...

Trying to stay well away from Logan as I don't want to pass anything on to him, although it's probably too late at this point...

Spent five hours in the company of some very interesting and LOUD people. Now trying to ignore the resulting tinnitus. It was a good time, though. Lots of ideas were shared.

I'm able to visit Millarworld from work for the first time in a couple of weeks so I'm surfing around, catching up. So much for that "Most Improved Productivity" award I'm sure I was in line to receive.

Ran home from work this evening. One guy who had just stagger out from the pub sang "Keep on Running" at me by way of encouragement. A quick thumbs up was shot his way as I find it next to impossible to talk when running.

Glad I'm not the only one. I pass two women who are out jogging almost every morning, and they're always chatting away. I think if you have enough breath to talk, you ain't trying hard enough!

Nordic Walkers are the worst. They always come in hordes and they're all jabbering at the same time. My wife calls them Walkie Talkies.

A photo I took was used as a cover for a law/philosophy textbook, and I got a complimentary copy of the book in the post this week. It's not a particularly great photo, but it's a proper book, and my name's on the back cover and I am dead chuffed about this.
