I think I'm taking over the weekend thread from Todd...

Anyway, this weekend is a weekend for riding bikes.

I have no bike ergo I cannot go bike riding. I shall instead go for a run at some stage instead. Also have some reports to write too.

Wife and I will go see Avengers again. I also need to do a bit more research on what car I intend to buy. (My 14 year old Nissan Maxima is approaching Last Day.) I will also be checking on my sister who had surgery yesterday.

Tonight I will be watching small children play soccer for a bit and then I need to go to the shop and work on my car.

Car show tomorrow. I need to install a couple parts and wash it up nice. Get it ready for the show. And NHL Playoffs at night.

Sunday I smoke pot and watch cartoons in my X-Men jammies. Oh and more NHL Playoffs.

My sister's having a going-away dinner on Sunday, with all my aunts, uncles and cousins coming up to the house, so pretty much everything this weekend is going to be cleaning the house in preparation for that.

My son graduates from college on Sunday, but my better half and I need to drive down to the Philadelphia area on Saturday morning to participate in a bunch of on-campus events. So that's my weekend in one sentence. Except I forgot to whine about how old this weekend will make me feel.

I was going to go shopping for the ingredients of some Chinese food I wanted to try making this weekend.

But I ended up doing that this evening, after work, so I've had a great meal but now I'm without a goal to pursue.

I'm taking it easy this weekend. Did a whole lot of nothing yesterday, and tonight there isn't much planned except to go to a concert thing with the family (choir concert type of thing, only there because a friend of mine's part of it)... have a lot of work to do today and tomorrow, too.



All of this quietude and all-worky attitude is the silence before the storm, really. Because next weekend I'll be going to London, the one after that to the far North-East of Germany for a family thing and the one after that we're going camping. So I'm conserving strength and trying to get rid of some of the workload in preparation.
