Once more, the month is over and time to start a new thread.
I don't really have a theme for this one. Just a space for you to show off your talents.

Been showing off some more inks this week.
Pencils by Roger Cruz - who truthfully leaves very little leeway for an inker to come in and embellish anything. But it was useful for practicing creating planar perspectrive and the illusion of depth.
I inked this with a mix of Faber Castell, Pentel brush and Copic Multiliner pens.
Most of the feathering is done with the Copics. You can press down on the nibs to to get a 'fake crow quill' effect. I need to practice it more, but I find it way easier than working with an actual quill.

Hi this was originally posted in the April thread, just checked my calendar and we have indeed moved on a month.
Soooooo......
I have been working feverishly on several projects with my long time artist collaborator Andrew Hartmann.
I am into my second issue of my 6 issue World War 2 Werewolf action epic "Wolfsbane". Of which the first 11 completed pages of issue #1 can be seen here at martianlizard.tumblr.com
I have finished writing an 11 page search for a New Clint Character Icon script called "The Shit Flingers" of which the first 5 pages have been inked, coloured and lettered. Will be posting that up on this forum very soon. A taste of page 1 can be seen here http://fookinprawnye...552892#/d4qx6ik
Pre-Renaissance cursed monkeys fighting demons and hell spawn from a Sistine Chapel basement. It promises to be bananas. (I am so sorry)
I have also finished writing a five page Space Oddities script which is being inked, coloured and lettered as we speak called "Apocalypse Now or Never". When it is done it will be posted up here on the forum. It will hopefully be a hilarious mash up of Warhammer 40,000k, the Coppola movie and a whole heap of Elvii.
I currently putting the finishing touches to another 11 page New Clint Character Icon script called Skin & Grief. Andy is just putting the final polish on the character sketches before we start artwork proper. It involves teenage assassins, aliens and the Underworld. (The Afterlife not gangsters).
Look forward to getting this stuff finished and out there.

Got a little more of those Robots In De Skies this month - the one pagers I worked on for Transformers Mosaic seem to be filtering through quite quickly at the moment.
Anyhoo - Pencils and inks by Jason Ho - who I believe walks among us right here on this board. Script, colouring and lettering by me.
Enjoy!

Something I've had finished for a little while, only just getting around to giving it an airing here:

This is my rendering of Kenshiro, the high-kicking, fast-punching protagonist of the FANTASTIC Fist Of The North Star TV show. Some of you may recall the animated movie that got a release worldwide in the early '90s - one of THE MOST. VIOLENT. THINGS. EVER. In the entire history of violent things.
I am completely in love with the TV show, which I'm watching at arate of two episodes per evening at the moment. I am AMAZED at how gnarly it is in terms of story progression, for a mid-'80s animated show.
More to the point, the character designs are gorgeous.
I don't often draw stuff in this anime style. I see so much terrible stuff over on DA that I feel it has a kind of 'uncool' label on it, and inking lines with little to no variation in weight feels WEIRD, but... well, I had a look in mind, so I went for it.
