That is indeed a FAIL! They didn't even reprint the joke.

The DJ Fuckhead fanbase is out in force, I see.

Life would be a lot less fun if we can't do that anymore.

You can't be cool if you go on stage and bitch about what other people like to do.
Sure you can, as long as you're entertaining. Remove the jaded bitching and MW is five threads and two members.

Still, to get a more positive vibe here, let's do the Rollins/Shatner crossover that you know you love, whoever you are:

Name and shame I say.
Steady on, you sound like me
Being a Dr. and everything, Dr. Hedgeh should have realised that this is an improper use of "whom".
Seriously, your language hardly uses any declension at all. How hard can it be to remember the few instances in which the cases are somehow marked?
It is our national shame

His description of the process is equally appplicable to hip-hop but I wonder how it would go down if he used Grandmaster Flash instead of DJ Fuckhead. There's a lot of really bad rave music and he gets closest to his target with some of the 'superstar' DJs that can have very limited skills. On the other hand there are some fantastic musicians, for example Paul Hartnoll from Orbital who is classically trained and does the most complex compositions, while many rock bands can do the 3 chords and that's the lot. That's why they sell tickets in a way the Rollins Band can only dream of.
The old man defence doesn't even work that well as the 'rave scene' happened when Rollins was in his late twenties. Check out 1990 rave tunes on Youtube and it's fortysomethings posting nostalgic comments about how music isn't as good as it used to be. Which is ironic and could make a much better routine.

Rollins is very fit and always stayed in shape,
I will admit that.

I'm just coming up to my 68th birthday and I hadn't heard Orbital until last week! What a fantastic sound - it takes you on a journey.

I just found the best comment:

Quick question. What's there most accessible / easiest to get into / "best" album. I don't have any Orbital and don't know where to start.

I saw his current spoken word tour, it was a great show. You really left the auditorium feeling a bit wiser than before.
If he's at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival again this year I'm going. I heard it as awesome last year but I didn't know about it until I saw a poster for it going into another show.
