Christian, I had no idea...!
Seriously, Manring is amazing. Up there with Stu Hamm in my opinion.

I got on a NIN kick late last night. Not sure how, but I use to really get down with NIN and I still do.
On another note I'm about to Download the new Jack White. It sounds like White Stripes stuff but I dig it!

New Trixter album came out yesterday, it's on it's way, will probably be here by Friday. The clips I have hard are awesome. First studio album since early 90s. First video:

Man, I love this album. If pressed I'd probably say it's my favourite one out of the Iggy Poop back catalogue. I'm sure some folk would sneer at the fact that "Everyone knows the title track and The Passenger" but I don't really care, and there's loads of other cracking tunes on it -- Some Weird Sin, Success and Turn Blue instantly jump to mind as album highlights.

Had a digital copy of the album the above is on for ages but only just got round to picking up a cd copy of it the other day. Postie brought it to my door today.

Yeah.
Yeah indeed!
While Steven Wilson’s music usually leaves me cold, I really love what I heard of Storm Corrosion so far. It’s gloriously twisted and dark. I guess the eerie and downright disturbing element of the music owes itself to Mikael Åkerfeldt’s involvement. Some of the melody lines and guitar harmonies sound a lot like Opeth’s more psychedelic moments (I love Opeth btw). Amazing video, too!

While Steven Wilson’s music usually leaves me cold,
Prog doesn't have to be emotionally involving. It's the technical aspects that appeal to me.
Anyway, I just pre-ordered the Blu-ray special edition of the Storm Corrosion album from Amazon. I want to hear the 5.1 mixes, and it was under £14.
