It's also worth noting that the biggest movie of the year thus far also has a female protaganist with a bow and arrow. Not that Brave and The Hunger Games are in any way similar beyond that. Just thought it was something to throw into the mix for the hell of it.

Yeah that's a surprise to me too. Never seen the attraction personally - I think they're really bland movies.
Bourne 1 was a really-well made suspense film with a lot of well-staged action and an interesting premise. There was nothing interesting about the second one's story, really, but Greengrass' direction made it unique - I don't think we've seen fight scenes staged like that before, and his constant jump-cutting gave the film an astonishing pace. Watching that was like an extended cerebral attack. I think I remember I didn't care all that much about 3 because it was a bit of a rehash of that.
