His signature song is "Misirlou". You may have heard it before:
Other than that, a quiet weekend.

All very last minute, so we'll see how it goes?
I was out last night so this morning is a slow start, but as I say, I'm just helping out. Waiting for the phone call to leap into action!!!

this evening there is talk of celebratory drinks for a friend who will soon no longer be unemployed, after a relatively long time of job-hunting. he's a good friend, and i'm happy for him, but his good luck suggest he'll be moving away, and i will miss spending as much time with him as we currently do.
sunday i've very little plans, but a few things i would like to do, will see what i get around to.

Pro formats tend to be very big, many many gigabytes of data and the support this project has got includes a cloud storage system that just isn't fast enough to handle films that big.
If anyone knows a fast, online data storage and/or transfer site, I's appreciate it if they passed on the name and URL?

Saturday: day-date with Anne walking around Crown Center, homemade pizza, and then watched Thor.

I was at Coachella last weekend. It was amazing as usual. However, someone stole my iPhone and I lost all of my photos and videos. Super pissed. To make matters worse, this is the second iPhone in less than two months. In February I dropped my last iPhone in the ocean. Lost everything. Two vacations, two iPhones, no photos.
Sorry for your loss... er, losses, Lucian. Maybe you should consider having the next phone surgically grafted onto your body.

Would you believe I've gone through 4 iPhones in the last year?
would you believe i still have a non-smartphone that is essentially the equivalent of this?

Watched this the other day, after Andrew Ellard linked to it on Twitter. Very well done. Reminds me of the kind of thing you'd see on Black Mirror and that.
