My wife saw it tonight. Corporate premiere in a gold class cinema with free popcorn and coke, I was very jealous but she impressed me by remembering I told her that Stan Lee appeared in a cameo in every Marvel film and she spotted him. I thought that stuff was going in one ear and out the other.

did she say where he appears? (because if it was me, and I'd vaguely picked up on a partner's rambling about something I wasn't overly concerned with, I might just say "yeah, I saw Stan Lee in it!" even if I had no idea who Stan Lee was)My wife saw it tonight. also, don't tell us. Spot The Stan is a great fun game to play when watching Marvel films. I think he'd be a "down your entire drink" in a Marvel Movie Drinking Game.

She knows I'm going to see it on Saturday so she didn't tell me and asked me to confirm if she's right after I've seen it.

I managed to catch a preview of it on the 19th of April. All my friends hate me. It is a wonderful movie, better than the first Iron Man.

There are several amazing moments
Best moment was when Loki turned out to be nineties mulletted Superman.

Hello:
Scarlett Johansson said that she won't reprise
her role as the Black Widow for Iron Man 3. I
guess that means that if there is a (most likely)
sequel to the Avengers, she won't be in it.
I have yet to see the Avengers movie. I trust
Joss Whedon though.

It's a complicated world. Marvel have been very savvy in getting multiple film deals. RDJ said before Iron Man came out he signed up to 3. I don't know how The Avengers fits in there but Iron Man 3 means he must have signed again at some point as that will make 4.
Maybe the Hulk will be in the next Iron Man film and Natasha will be in Cap 2 where she actually naturally fits in better.

I think she simply means she won't have a role in Iron Man 3, not that she's walking away from Marvel. Any actor would be crazy to walk away from Marvel at this point. No doubt she's pitching for her own movie, but I don't think she's strong enough to carry her own flick. Plus I'm not sure Black Widow is a strong enough character to have her own movie. Like you say Gar, putting her in the next Cap might be smarter, with her and Cap looking for Bucky or fighting Hydra or something.
Ohhh, AIM. Can you imagine if they made MODOK the villain? How nuts would that be? I don't see it happening at all, but it'd be fun if they went that way.

I'd say both Widow and Hawkeye would fit well into Cap 2.
There's that scene where Cap's marching down the road and Widow and Hawkeye are flanking him.
I'd say Marvel's eyeing off another Hulk film at some point. If I recall, someone asked Ruffalo about if they made a movie, would it fit in with Del Toro's TV series. Ruffalo said that they were talking about it, and that they were complete seperate iterations.
Damn it! I remember that! I just can't find reference to it.
