So um, how long after margerine goes out of date do you think it becomes unsafe to consume?

2 hours 40 minutes.

Technically you can't Bruce. Real margarine is ridiculously unhealthy and I don't think even legal to sell.

When in doubt you can always use it to lube your bicycle chain with.

I do apologise - it's "vegetable low-fat spread."

EDIT: And Craggy, I was surprised too.

I have never had to treat anyone for the medical consequences of eating out of date margarine.

So, either they all died before they could get to a doctor, or they were all fine.

I hope this helps.

I'm a little reassured. But only a little.

I only bought my current tub of "low-fat vegetable spread" a few months back, after the old one was pretty much finished. I can't remember when I bought that one. So I'd say you're probably ok, Steve.

edit:because I tend to buy bread only very rarely, and the only other time I use it is on scones/pancakes/hot cross buns, and there tend to be other, more shiny distracting cakes that I buy when I'm out.

I think it's unsafe to consume before it goes out of date.

I couldn't find my regular brand of double-sided tape and the new brand is weird and a pain in the ass to use.

i'm going to assume unless told otherwise that the double-sided tape is because you're wearing an ultra low-cuts dress, and you don't want your boobs to be exposed.

I offered to read a friend's screenplay and now I'm really regretting it. I'm only a quarter of the way through and it's really hard going. And I think it's meant to be a comedy.

Call him and tell him you can't take any more and ask whether this was a joke on you!

You know, I pity your students sometimes, Christian!

No I'm going to somehow have to find a way to give constructive feedback. I can almost see it working as a French or Italian movie - my friend lives in Paris so maybe the place has rubbed off on her. It's just not the kind of thing I'd ever pay to see.

That's why I never agree to read anything my friends have written any more (well, except my Uni friends who did Creative Writing degrees with me). Unless it's actually good (which, let's be fair, is fairly unlikely) all you can do is either be honest and offend them or lie and delude them.

If I ever read things by people I know, I warn them in advance that all I'll do is pick their grammar to shreds. I refuse to comment on piot, characters, etc.

My theory is that hating their teacher is the best motivator for students :)

Finished reading the screenplay, and sent an e-mail with some constructive comments. It actually got better towards the end.
