Given it's all over the news I don't think it's a spoiler really.
Are they announcing the follow-up tomorrow?

I don't think it'll be that big a news story in the colonies, better safe than upsetting our cousins . . .Given it's all over the news I don't think it's a spoiler really.

The colonies don't include South America, right? Because I'm all the way here in Peru.

That was mostly good, if a bit light. There wasn't much of a threat or anything. I wish we got a bit more of Bill Bailey and his crew.

About a tenth as good as last years Christmas episode in every respect.

Kept waiting for Xander "Isn't it though, like totally . . ."
Dissapointed that there were no clues as to when "The Doctor will return . . .".

My three year old nephew was apparently scared by the tree people statue things - job done Dr Who!
I liked it ok, the very end was full of cheese though.

I take it you all missed the reference to The Caves of Androzani, then?
I too thought it was limp and overly sentimental. Last year's Christmas Special is an example of how to write a Who story about saving one person instead of saving the world.

I liked it. The tree statue things were slick, the forest suitably magical, the plot was kinda thin, but had a lot of emotion to it, and the ending was a real kicker.
