Hi Everyone,

I'm back!

After a month which, for some reason, I couldn't get onto Millarworld at all, I'm glad to say I can now access the forums again.

Thanks to everyone who dropped an email to me.

Special thanks to Paul Penna for letting people know what was going on in my absence.

How's everyone going?

Well, I'm still looking for an artist for my seven pagers, but I've contacted a couple of people so maybe I'll have some luck.

I emailed you a Dropbox link with the PDF. Let me know if it worked, and if everything was okay with it.

Money, sex or threats to expose their double life as a furrie usually works for me. :D

Well, I'm working with Jason now on 'Detective Story'.

Luckily I didn't have to resort to any of those things Posted Image

I received the rough version of page one today and it is a thing of beauty.

How is everyone else getting along? What stage is everyone at?

Future Noir

An Anthology set in the world of Blade Runner.

Hi everyone.

I’m hatching a cunning plan to put together an anthology set in a world very similar to that of the pseud-cyberpunk sci-fi classic Blade Runner. That is, a world of future, scuzzy, grungy , punk noir.

What I’m looking for is short stories, 10 pages maximum. They don’t have to be set in LA, they don’t have to be set on Earth, they can be off-world on a colonised Moon or Mars…they can be at the bottom of a polluted sea…they can be on anything at all as long as it fits into the aesthetic of the world of Blade Runner.

I’m looking for writers and artists to post their pitches, so as we don’t overlap on similar stories.

If a creative team can get together and put in a piece, that’s great, but if there are single artists and writers who need pairing up, then we’ll look at doing that too.

What are you waiting for? Get scribbling!

Sorry this is completely unrelated to the topic, but you left a post on one of my topics, was it your sense of humour or was it ridicule, it did leave me wondering.

I think the deadline for writers has passed, unless you're able to get your own artist on board.

As for artists, I'm pretty sure JP would welcome most people with open arms.

I seem to be much further ahead than most people and JP hasn't yet set a hard deadline for when work needs to be finished.

I expect if you want to contribute, that there is still plenty of time to do so.

Still on track, I was just talking to JP about this via e-mail the other day.

I don't think JP gets onto the board as often as he'd like.

I'm still moving ahead with Jason on our strip, here is some concept art -

I know JP has an artist working on his strip.

Apparently he is still looking to add a few more stories to the anthology, so people just need to find artists to team up with.

JP has had one more submission, but he's still looking for more stories if anyone else is looking to submit?

How are everyone's strips progressing?
